Through my travels, I've shot portraits all over the world. In my photos, I work to capture real moments and honest emotions. I search for subjects with unique facial features. Shot in both color and black and white, these images function as a window into understanding not only the subject, but ourselves.

Every time I look at this lineup, there's a new name I catch that I didn't take the chance to get excited over because there are so many good names on this bill. Too many...I'm almost worried I'll have to make some sacrifices the way I did at And Always Forever.

That Kilby Block Party Lineup...

I don't quite remember falling in love with an entire festival lineup like I did with this specific one. Kilby Block Party's always had good lineups year in and year out, from having New Order, Beach House, AND Justice last year to not only having Lorde, Hayley Williams, and Turnstile on the same bill this year, but also having literally every single good indie rock band and act in the lineup. Jane Remover, Chanel Beads, YHWH Nailgun, Kevin Morby, Feeble Little Horse, Hotline TNT, Wombo...maybe I'm biased, but Wednesday would've made such a wonderful fit. But all in all, this topped the Coachella lineup for me. Every year, the curators of these lineups find a way to assemble something so varied yet so cohesive. Tempted to buy a ticket...

Update: I did. How I'm gonna go, I don't know, but when there's a will, there's a way. This is the absolute perfect lineup for my first festival without the dust and the $10 showers.
